Almost Christmas: THE MOVIE REVIEW

Just in time for the holidays the new family based comedy movie Almost Christmas hit the theaters earning close to 30 million in box office earnings. With this talented cast by his side director David E. Talbert pulled off what should be seen as Christmas classic for the whole family to watch during the holidays.

Based off of a family's first Christmas together after their mother passed away, and their father while dealing with his grief over his beloved wife tries to bring his family together for the holidays. The siblings are brought together for the holiday from their separate lives and are forced to deal with the tension and drama that comes from every family. Back in the house they grew up in the siblings are forced to face obstacles such as love, business vs family, old friends, and etc.

This movie was great because it was relatable when it comes to family situations like sibling rivalry and competitiveness. To me it resembled the well known black Christmas movie This Christmas which is personally a holiday favorite of mine.
